A bottle of white italian wine

Calcarius Wine

The soil of Puglia is rich in calcium, and the labels of these wines soberly display its molecular structure: calcium is the key word here. Valentina Passalacqua and Danilo Marcucci own 45 hectares of vineyards in the region, one of the most environmentally committed (biodynamic, regenerative agriculture). And the presence of limestone in the soil gives the wine an underrated potential: notes of yeast and dried fruit, for natural wines with a strong character. Several grape varieties are available, all organic, from white to red to sparkling.

Venice's Lost Street Food: A Journey Through Historical Flavors
In recent years we have witnessed a rediscovery and revaluation of what is called 'Street food,' an ancient tradition that unites practically all the various countries of the world, obviously with the necessary differences. I was eating at the restaurant La Rivetta, a landmark of Venetian cuisine when I stumbled upon the discussion summarized below. It must be said that La Rivetta represents the best of the ancient gastronomic traditions of the lagoon capital. The constant presence of gondoliers certifies its quality, as well as the presence of trucks and their drivers pointing out the right restaurants where to stop and eat during a car trip.
