The interiors of Le Refuge de Tornieux up in the mountains facing the Mont Blanc

Le Refuge de Tornieux

Up high in the mountains, you can get to the Refuge de Tournieux by snowcat and sledge down wearing your headtorch. Facing the Mont-Blanc, this wooden traditional chalet is a great restaurant with a unique menu:  cheese fondue, mushrooms and tartiflette are a must. Not to forget the remarkable desserts: apple pie and blue-berry pies.

Venice's Lost Street Food: A Journey Through Historical Flavors

It must be said that La Rivetta represents the best of the ancient gastronomic traditions of the lagoon capital. The constant presence of gondoliers certifies its quality, as well as the presence of trucks and their drivers pointing out the right restaurants where to stop and eat during a car trip.
